GÖCEK’17
Last year, we invited people who have never had a chance to try sailing to the Rixos Sailing Cup. Offering the experience and excitement of trying out this unique sport, our slogan was ‘Let friendship win!’
With this event we achieved a worldwide first. Designed in collaboration with the Turkish Sailing Federation, the Gocek Sailing Club and the Judges’ Committees, we came up with a challenging route – akin to the X in the Rixos logo – for the race. Attendance was greater than we expected; our guests were thoroughly entertained during and after the cup on account of an evening full of activities organised with the distinctive Rixos touch.
And now, the excitement is back! We’re getting ready for the 2017 rebound, with the support of Marinturk and the objective of promoting sailing in Turkey. The highly coveted event will offer our attendees a break from the stress of their day-to-day life, as well as the opportunity to meet some of Turkey’s most prominent names. Awards will be granted to competeing groups, some including public figures as members.
Come and join us this year! This is your chance to see the crystal clear waters of Gocek from a different angle – and make a difference. Dance with the waves in our world-famous bays this October, and ‘Let friendship win’!
